Thanksgiving 2015

Sorry this one got a little out of order.

On the drive to my parent's house for Thanksgiving, I looked back and saw Sweet Girl brushing her baby's teeth! Sweet Girl loves to hold the toothbrush and toothpaste when we brush her teeth and when she saw it in the bag I packed it in, she insisted on holding it.. such a goof!

 I thought this was adorable, someone put Sweet Girl in the swing and then her sweet cousin pushed her, even though she isn't that much bigger than Sweet Girl!

 Apparently Sweet Girl thought whatever was on that plate was SUPER good!

Also, she's obsessed with those fly swatters, they are some of her favorite toys at my parent's house, and don't worry, my mom cleaned them!

 My dad had to work on Thanksgiving this year, but my sweet sister's wonderful in-laws invited us to their Thanksgiving dinner. We had a great time! My mom had a really great time, she found a cozy chair and fell asleep with the baby! Sweet Girl also slept right through dinner, but she really needed it and was much happier when she woke up!

 The next day we had another Thanksgiving dinner with my Dad and a few other relatives and family friends!

Two Thanksgivings... don't mind if I do!

 After we ate we watched some Christmas movies since it was officially Christmastime! YAY!

That weekend we also had a bridal shower for my brother's fiance!

It was really fun!

We decided to do a "Falling in Love" theme and had very "fallish" foods.

It was pretty low key, which was nice. We just ate, visited, and opened gifts!

It was fun to celebrate our new sister!

It was a very family oriented weekend, my brother-in-law blessed their baby that Sunday!

We also got our Christmas tree that weekend, but I'll write more about that in a separate post!

It was a wonderful weekend!

I am so grateful for all of our family, our Savior, His gospel, and all the blessings He has given us,

especially my Sweet Husband and our Sweet Girl! We are truly blessed beyond measure!

We love the rain!

This fall and winter we've been getting quite a bit of rain!

We love it!

Sweet Girl especially loves to run in the rain and jump in the puddles!

I would like to caveat these pictures with the information that I took these pictures in October when it was warmer. I don't send my baby outside without shoes and a coat in the cold!

It had rained before in her lifetime but this was the first time that it was a rain she could actually play in (warm, lasted longer than 2 minutes, and not during nap time).

She was most definitely a fan!

She was pretty upset when I made her come inside so she wouldn't get completely soaked and get sick or something.

Cecilator 2015

Since the dawn of time, or close to it, the men of my family have worked to build the perfect pomegranate press. A few years ago, my Sweet Husband and my Sweet Dad created this. This year my Dad created a tumbler to separate the membrane from the seeds, then the seeds go through the chipper, into in the washer, and they come out as juice!

Separating the seeds from the membrane helps the juice not be bitter.

 We all came to help, it was also an exciting weekend because Sweet Girl got to meet her new cousin!

It's so fun to see the two of them play together!

My cousins are so sweet and helped them play in the airplane while we all cut the pomegranates.

14 Gallons of Sweet Pomegranate Juice
60 Gallons of Sour pomegranate Juice
and about a million pomegranates cut and/or shelled
