Thankful

I am so grateful for my sweet husband and our sweet little one! We've been so blessed this year! We have so much to be grateful for, just as we do every year!

Two Months!

I think it's safe to say that this girl is the cutest!

If you don't believe me, see the photo below:

We went to her two month well baby check up on Wednesday,

which was actually her two month birthday!

The doctor told us that we have a

"chunky, tall, big-headed baby"

The chunky and big-headed we knew,

but I told Baby Girl to treasure the "tall" because it may be the only time in her life that she is considered tall!

Her stats are:

Weight: 11 lbs 5 3/4 oz (65th percentile)

Height: 23 inches (76th percentile)

Head Circumference: 15.6 inches (71st percentile)

Oh my goodness, we love this girl!

She's really showing her personality these days,

it's so much fun!

She loves to wiggle, stretch, smile, sleep, and talk!

Halloween

When my sweet husband was a little boy he LOVED his Superman pajamas!

He's always loved Superman,

so our sweet girl has a pretty decent Superman wardrobe,

so that's what she was for Halloween.

We didn't go trick or treating, but we figured we could still dress up!

 She's really been smiling lately and we are loving it!

Projects: Master Bathroom

Lest you think we've stopped doing home improvement projects since the baby,

behold the master bathroom!

Okay, let's be honest, most of the work has been done by my sweet husband,

but I did help with the painting and glazing of the cabinet.

I forgot to take a before picture, but they were stained brown before and the counter was an ugly pretend white and gold swirled marble. 

This bathroom has needed to be updated since we moved in, if you couldn't tell,

but since no one but my sweet husband and I really ever used it, it got put pretty low on the to do list. And now is its turn! YAY! 

Obviously we aren't finished yet,

we still have to redo the floors, replace the toilet, redo the shower, re-install the sink and back splash, and possibly do something with the mirrors.

But here is a close up of the refinished counter top and cabinet.

My sweet husband did such a good job!

He's so handy!
