My sweet husband put it this way:

You see about every year or every few years
my husband's family goes on a big lake trip to celebrate the start of the new school year.
Well, this year they moved it up a bit, which worked out well.
They usually go to a beautiful lake in mountains,
now I don't know about your neck of the woods but for us,
it had been unusually cold up until the weekend we went (which was good).
On a trip home from my parents house a few weeks ago,
my dad offered to let us use the boat WITHOUT him!
After checking him for a fever,
and after learning that the water temperature was going to be somewhere in the 50s and the air temperature was going to be in the 60s or maybe it was the other way around... I'm not sure,
we gave it some serious thought.
I'm so glad that we took my dad up on his offer,
it was AWESOME!
Day #1
Water: a little cold, but not bad and Glass most of the day!
I may get in trouble for this picture, but I love how happy she looks in it!
He did get up, I just wasn't ready and only got the crash!
He smiled the whole time he was up, it was cute
Dang, he's hott!
Day #2
Water: a little cold,
fairly nice for the morning and a little more choppy in the afternoon, but still not bad
He hurt his ankle after this... maybe a couple jumps later,
but at least he was doing something cool to get hurt
My mom rocks :)
She got ten bucks for this!
He rode for 30 minutes... we were all hurting for him
We really missed those that weren't able to come!
We had a good time for you ;)
