Retirement

This is my 300th post!
In honor of that I'm announcing my retirement,
from work... lol!
Last Friday was my last day of work.

It feels a little weird to be honest.

Yesterday wasn't too weird because Mondays were one of my days off,

but today I think it will hit me that I'm finished with work!
Yesterday, I asked my sweet husband how his day was going
 and after he responded he asked me how retirement was. It was pretty funny.

I made a list of things I need/want to accomplish before 

our sweet baby girl arrives in just TEN short weeks!

Can you believe that, TEN weeks?!

These things include:

 doing the finishing touches on projects we pretty much finished months and months ago,

making swaddling blankets from a pattern in an awesome one yard pattern book my parents gave me,

making a bookshelf for the nursery,

making freezer meals,

deep cleaning and keeping the house clean,

laundry, laundry, laundry,

and finishing up the reading in the parenting and labor books I've been reading.

Yesterday was a success and I was able to finish both of the swaddling blankets I set out to make.

Usually sewing projects take me SO much longer than I think they will.

So I was pleasantly surprised that I finished them both yesterday,

and I made my own binding.
I had to improvise on my model, good thing I have my Addy doll here.. lol.
