Saying goodbye to a good friend...

Well, it finally happened today, I lost my favorite pair of sunglasses. We've been good friends for a little more than two years. I feel kind of superficial, but they were nice, and I liked them a lot. I've had them about two years longer than any other pair of sunglasses I've owned, and now they're gone...We went to the big city to run a few errands, after we left Costco and were on our way home, I realized that I didn't have my sunglasses, so being the wonderful man that he is, my dear husband turned around (we'd missed our exit anyways, so it was okay we had to turn around lol) and we headed back to Costco. I figured I left them in the cart, but when we went back the cart was gone, the cart guy had picked it up, so I asked him if he'd seen any sunglasses. He said, "Check with the service desk." False hope. They didn't have them, they sent me to the supervisors desk, they had several pairs, but not mine. So I went back outside and then we parked the car and retraced our steps (and looked at like every customer trying to see if they had taken them...), but alas, we never found them. We decided to head home and I'd call when we got there. I just called and they still didn't have them. Sadness. Apparently whoever found them needed them more than me....

So goodbye old friend.
