4th of July!

I love the 4th of July!

It has always been one of my favorite holidays,

I think my hometown celebrates it best.

I probably said that last year too, but I really believe it.

I mean come on a town water fight?!

It doesn't get much cooler than that!

I also love the actual 4th and singing patriotic songs,

races, food, fireworks, family, friends, etc.

I love it all!

Last year after the 4th everyone at work was asking what everyone else did for the 4th.

My sweet husband told his coworkers about the water fight and all the festivities and these coworkers decided they needed to come this year. And so they did!

Technically they left Sunday and didn't go to the actual 4th,

but they did experience the water fight!

We took them down the crazy street in town for the whole experience

Bright and early on the 4th,

My little cousin was NOT happy that he didn't get a flag,

I wouldn't be happy either

we got smoked

It was a great day!

My youngest sister was over the races again and she did a wonderful job!

Everyone did a wonderful job!

The 4th is always a great success!

I love America!

I am so grateful that I get to live in such a blessed land, I'm so grateful for the freedoms we have, and for the men and women that defend those freedoms everyday!
