This week we learned a few lessons:
1.
Check and make sure the temple is open before
you drive there…
2.
Read the instructions, the manufacturer usually
knows what he’s talking about
3.
Hire people to do the really hard stuff!
Some of these things we found out the hard way and some we
just knew…
The good news is that we made the most of the situation with
the temple. We walked around the grounds and then went to the new visitors’
center. It is super cool! We thought about going to a movie or something, but
couldn’t find anything we absolutely wanted to do (aka pay for, we like our
little town it’s a little cheaper.. lol). So we drove home and watched a few
episodes of White Collar.. we’re kind of addicted!
PS I don't really care for this picture of me, but my sweet husband actually smiled, so I had to include it...lol
The instructions lessons all center around our new front door! YAY for the front door!
Just so you know, when installing a door it goes a lot faster when you read the instructions,
Same with the foam filler...
lesson learned.
These next pictures are for a before,
because soon we'll have an after and the outside of our home will look SO much better!
Today the stucco man comes to do the first layer of new color coat (and new stucco in places)!
We finally finished enclosing the breezeway, complete with new back door!
Stay tuned for the after pictures!
