Water fun!

Sorry I've been pretty spotty on the blogging front...

Life has been crazy to say the least.

Something we've been up to quite often lately is that hanging out in the water,

which isn't all that shocking since we LOVE water!

We've been to the beach a couple times in the last two months.

Sadly, one time we didn't have my camera, my family was with us that time at the beach,

and two DOLPHINS joined in on the fun too!

So, I guess you'll just have to trust me when I tell you that that happened!

We've also been to the lake a couple times.

Another time we went to my sweet in-law's house was because the newlyweds came down for a week, so we went to visit them. 

We had a wonderful day seeing the sites, playing in the surf, and playing in the sand.

We went to a spot to try to fly remote control airplanes and happened upon a sailboat race!

Here they are all lined up before the horn blew... or was this after... it is hard to tell, it didn't change much... lol they definitely are not the fasted moving boats.

We were able to tour the lighthouse in the back of this picture.

Later that day our sister-in-law introduced us to the goodness that is, Deep Fried Oreos!

Here my sweet husband sports a deep fried oreo with whip cream on top!.. lol!

These next few pictures are more for your entertainment, I mean, seriously..

One of our trips to the lake was shorter than anticipated because the water was so choppy, not that these next few pictures show it, we were in a little swimming area, so it looks better than it was, trust me.

We swam and played in the water for a while.

Even after swimming lessons, my brother still only doggy paddles!... lol

After the traditional ice cream stop, we went to this gem of a museum. My sweet husband has been wanting to go for some time and it was a few admission day, practically meant to be.
