Bathroom Take 2

Since we've moved in, we've wanted to replace the shower/tub in our second bathroom.
Remember this post?
We had to get rid of the pink quickly,
it caused sickness and blindness to many.
So when we painted and replaced the floor we new the flooring would be temporary,
because we wanted to tile it.

We decided that our project for January would be the bathroom.
And as all home projects tend to do, it has taken a little longer that just one month to work on the bathroom.
Notice I didn't say to finish.
We're still not done, but we are making progress!

First, my sweet husband removed the vanity, toilet, and shower/tub.
Then he put in a new tub.
Then we were able to put in the floor tile.
I did help with the floor tile, I just forgot to have my sweet husband take a picture of my skills.
Then my sweet husband put up the cement backer board up around the shower so we could tile the shower.
We've been working on that for a while.
My sweet husband started it to figure out how to do it,
and then today I helped.
We still aren't finished with the shower, but we made a lot of progress.
I left to go to a friend's baby shower and my sweet husband tiled the left side of the shower
to meet up with where we stopped on the back wall.
Now we have the shower head side and the very bottom row and the very top left.
We also got a cabinet refinishing kit to refinish the cabinet
and we are going to order a counter refinishing kit.
I'll post more pictures as we finish more projects!
