This Handsome Guy has been working on getting his private pilot's license!
This has always been one of his dreams.
He's more than half way through his required hours!
He flew his first solo flight
(aka without an instructor with him, also don't freak out, he wasn't allowed to go very far...
a few touch and goes as I recall, since then he has gone a little further on his own but still not too far)
at the end of July!
Sweet Girl, my parents, and I went and watched him once while he was flying solo too.
(To get a private pilot's license one has to fly so many hours with an instructor, so many hours solo, so many hours at night, and a few other things.)
We were right by the runway, so we could see him when he did his touch and goes.
I loved seeing his face, he was so in his element!
He's the white dot..lol!
I'm so proud of him and so grateful that he's getting to live his dreams!
Sweet Girl and I get to go with him soon! We are excited!
