Let the Yard Work Season Begin!

For the last two weeks, I've been filling in for the receptionist at work.
Let's just put it this way, I'd much rather do my job.
It was exhausting, and I was glad for it to be over, it couldn't come soon enough.
So imagine my giddiness when I got a text message from my dad that went a little something like this:
"Hey, how about you and your husband take Monday off and go to the lake with us?"
Uhh, YES! Although, I wasn't sure if I could get Monday off or if my sweet husband could.
But we were able to!
We headed to my parents house after work on Friday
(I need to write an entire blog post about Friday, I promise I'll get to it).
We were making GREAT time because there was an AWESOME tail wind! We seriously were at 3/4 of a tank after 4 hours, but then we hit the big city and these crazies were out for some psycho people convention and we got stuck in traffic for FOREVER! Killing our time and gas mileage!
Oh well, we eventually made it.
We relaxed most of the weekend, we listened to my sister sing in Stake Conference, she did a WONDERFUL job! We listened to my parents sing in the choir at stake conference.
We just enjoyed being with family and missed those not there.

Then on Monday we headed out to do some yard work!
It was a little choppy, but we found some places with glass.

Sorry, I always look ticked off in yard working pictures, but I wasn't I promise!
Here I am wakeboarding
 My little brother kneeboarding
My little brother's date kneeboarding, she was super cute.
My handsome husband getting some air on the wakeboard!
 My mom being awesome!
Me, trying to be like my momma.
My sweet husband on the ski!
My little brother on the ski
His date tried skiing, but wasn't able to get up, she was SO close but her arms were tired.
I wish I was more zoomed in for this picture, my dad got more air on his ski than I did on the wakeboard!
Dad got some AWESOME water!
So we all had to go again!
It was a great time!
Ironically the water improved as the day went on, that rarely happens!
We were sad to leave, but had to get on the road.
You always have to leave wanting more though!
Thanks Mom and Dad!
Love you all!
