Ice Cream

I think one of my favorite things about being a mom is introducing Sweet Girl to things that I love.
One thing that I love is
Ice cream!

At her 9 month well check up the doctor asked what foods she ate, I told him, and then I asked if a few certain foods were okay for her to eat. He said that she is pretty much ready to eat most foods (excluding honey and nuts, of course). He specifically said that she could even have ice cream! I was shocked. I figured since ice cream is a milk product and milk is a little sketchy until 12 months, we'd have to wait. But he said she could have it, he said he wanted her to enjoy food. She most certainly does enjoy food, but it's always nice to get to have more variety!

They did a blood test and gave her a shot at her appointment, she didn't cry at all! I was so proud of her, since she was so brave I figured we should stop at Chick-fil-A and get an ice cream cone to share. I'm pretty sure she understood him when he said she could have ice cream because she attacked that cone!

I was sad that my sweet husband was at work, I felt bad that he wasn't there to experience her first ice cream cone, but I promised him that he could give her her first chocolate ice cream cone.

 She was not okay with Daddy licking her ice cream... lol!

She was so tired, but she loved it!
