8 Months!

This is a few days late, but our Sweet Girl is 8 months old!

We tried taking pictures the day she turned 8 months old, but we were having a hard time focusing...lol!

They were super cute, don't get me wrong, but I wanted at least one with her ADORABLE smile!

This one is my favorite from that day, it shows her sweetness.

 We tried again yesterday.

The lighting was better and she was in a better mood!

 This girl just won't stop growing!

According to my super reliable home measurements,

she is 17 lbs, 26 inches long, and her head circumference is 18 inches.

She is a mover and shaker!

She army crawls and she is SO quick!

For a while she wouldn't leave the rug because she couldn't move very well on our wood floors,

but now she can get just about anywhere she wants, carpet or not!

 She love LOVE loves books!

She can turn the pages and it is probably one of the cutest things ever!

And you better make sure you only have it ready for her to turn when it's time or it is on to the next page, and if you don't have it ready when she thinks it's time to turn, she'll close the book... lol!

So we read at double speed sometimes.. lol!

 This is her adorable smile I was hoping for!

Some of the other milestones we hit this month: feeding herself, she can pick up cheerios and put them in her mouth. It is so amazing to me that one day she won't be able to do something and then the next day she'll be able to do it a little bit, and then the next day it's as if she's been doing it all her life!

We can put her hair in a pony! I am super excited about that! It just looks so darn cute, it is the tiniest little pony but SO cute!

She wears 6-9 or 9 month clothing, size 3 diapers.

She eats solids about two to three times a day.

She loves all the solids we've tried, except rice cereal.

Some of her favorites are pears, cheerios, rice rucks (rice cracker things), green beans (not pureed, she will eat them pureed but prefers the real thing), applesauce, chicken and rice (pureed), oatmeal, and bread!
She waves now! It is so cute! Sometimes it's an up and down wave and sometimes it's horizontal and looks like she's either casting a spell or leading the music... lol!
She also spits and vibrates her tongue (I can't figure out what that is called), she thinks it's hilarious...
and it is!
She also laughs all the time, sometimes she fake laughs, and sometimes she laughs because other people are laughing, it's pretty awesome!
