I have to share an experience from my friend's ward's primary program and the reason why we went to it. So he has an alarm that conveniently changes times for us on Daylight Savings time... well it was helpful before the government set a date for it rather than did it by the moon or whatever the cycle was before. So we woke up one morning, feeling very refreshed I might add. He got in the shower and I went into the kitchen to start breakfast. After a little while I noticed that the clock on the microwave showed a different time than the alarm clock and we were late for Church! So after he was finished I told him, and we realized that there was no way we'd make it for our Sacrament Meeting, so we just decided to go to another ward, so we called up our friends. They said it was their primary program and since she was the chorister and he was the pianist they wouldn't be able to sit by us for most of the meeting, but we decided to go anyways. SO GLAD WE DID! So this was at BYU, they lived in Wymount, the on campus family housing, so their primary consisted of like 10 three-year-olds! As you can imagine, it was SO funny! They had a microphone on a music stand in front of the stage, right in front of the kids so you could hear them over the piano. Our favorite part was when one kid shoved another kid and then the girl he shoved said loudly into the microphone, "Billy! NO!" (I don't remember the kid's name). It was really funny and we were so glad we went!
Well, anyways, this year is a little different. I'm still excited because I'm sure I'll be laughing and having a great time, but I also get to play the piano, I'm the primary pianist! Basically, I'm a little nervous, but I think it will go well, I've practiced a lot. So anyways, please pray for me! I'll let you know how it goes!
(This is me play a beautiful piano at a HUGE house in Provo that my Freshman Ward had our closing social at)
We just had our primary program today too! My favorite line was, "Heavenly Father is a God of musicals.... I mean miracles." Funny.
