I have a few questions for the general public.
When did it become okay for people to bring dogs to the grocery store?
I don't think it ever did.
Grocery stores are not PetSmart!
I'm sorry but I don't like dogs, frankly I'm afraid of them.
I don't care of people have them as pets,
but bringing to the grocery store?!?!
I'm not okay with that!
When did it become okay for people to invade your personal space?
I was at the grocery store this morning
(separate experience than the dog),
and as I was waiting in line a lady came up behind me
and started putting her stuff on the conveyor,
all well and good,
until she started pushing me toward the guy in front of me!
I was only two steps behind the guy,
it wasn't like I was ten feet behind the guy.
Then she starts pushing her cart toward me.
Seriously if I would have leaned back she would have hit me with her cart!
Basically I guess I should stay away from the grocery store... lol.
However, once when we were getting some work done on our car,
we were waiting in the auto shop waiting room and this lady had FOUR dogs with her!
Gross.
Grosie Josie. I'm allergic to dogs, so that really bugs me. It makes me sneeze just thinking about it.

I thought this was pretty funny because I was just thinking the same thing when I was at the store the other day... yup saw a dog... oh and then the lady in line in front of me thought it was okay to touch Sylvie... even just grabbin her hand I was like... I don't know you don't touch my daughter weirdo. We have an older couple that lives on our street and I always see them outside pushing their rat (tiny dog) in a stroller... seriously ... its distrubing.
ReplyDeleteMary: I wish I was allergic to dogs because then I would have no problem telling the owners that I think it is totally inappropriate for them to bring their dogs to the grocery store!
ReplyDeleteEmily: In a stroller? That is sick! And about the lady and Sylvie, seriously people have no boundaries these days... not cool.
I bet if we started an I hate dogs group we would have a lot of members. But that's probably not too politically correct.
