You've had a birthday, shout hooray!

Recently my sweet husband had his birthday!
Actually he has two birthdays.
So we celebrated for two days!
That is also why he's wearing clothes in the pictures.
He opened half his present one day
and half the next day (on his real birthday).
Although he did accidentally find them in the trunk of our honda before his birthday.
I guess that's what I get for getting a present I can't lift... lol.

So while I'm waiting for the pictures to upload,
even though they'll be here for you to see,
I'll explain why he has two birthdays,
because you're probably confused about that.

Well, it all started because up until he was about four
his mom though his birthday was the day before his actual birthday.
Then one day his sister was looking through stuff
and found his birth certificate.
She said, "Mommy, you know my cute younger brother?
Of course you know him,
well, his birthday is actually the day after we always celebrated it!"
(okay so that's not exactly how the conversation went, but you get the idea)
So, after being harassed about celebrating his birthday on the wrong day,
his mom officially declared that he has two birthdays!

Here he is opening the part one
(just for the record, this isn't the part I couldn't lift)
(neither is this)

The part I can't lift didn't get a picture apparently... sorry about that.
It's an air compressor.
Home depot is having a great sale right now on an air compressor and the nail guns you see pictured above.
(I'm not sponsored,
just sharing a good deal in case you are in need of an air compressor and nail guns)

This is his birthday dinner, it was delicious!
And the delicious birthday cake!
For his big day, he didn't have to go to work.
Instead he went to a few doctor appointments, lucky guy!
Actually one was coming to see me at the optometrist office I work in.
I helped him find a pair of sunglasses,
and then I told him my great news!
That I had gotten the rest of the day off so I could spend it with him!
So we went to lunch,
he worked on the boat for a bit,
I worked on the laundry he started (what a gem!)
and then we relaxed and hung out together!
I love relaxing days!
We thought about going to Six Flags again,
but it was around 1 in the afternoon,
so we wouldn't have had very much time there.
So we stayed home and enjoyed each other's company!
It was a great day!
I'm a very blessed girl to be married to such a great man!
