Breezeway Renovation: Drywall edition

To see the first few stages of this project go here, here, here, and here.

This project is taking what seems like FOREVER. But that's mainly because we have been very busy.
Busy with many things.
1. My sweet husband finished his Master's Degree.
His parents gave him an awesome graduation present.
My sweet husband always joked about this while he was getting his degree.
His whole life he did not like USC, but they had an awesome program that fit his plans perfectly,
so he couldn't pass it up.
But this shows his true feelings of this school... lol!
One must see the whole picture to truly appreciate the license plate holder.. lol!

2. We had the adoption whirlwind that didn't work out.

3. And we went on a lot of trips this summer, more of that to come.

However, in the last couple months we have started working on it again.
My sweet husband installed the drywall, with the help of a friend (mostly when he was doing the ceiling).
Here is the laundry room, our goal for this week is to get it taped and textured.
We decided to start taping and texturing the garage part first,
so if we messed up it wouldn't really matter since it's just the garage.

Here is my handsome man texturing the workshop.

It's getting much closer!
I'll post pictures of it again soon.

  1. You two are so impressive with your house improvements and know-how! You will have to come help us if/when we ever renovate a house! :) Kidding, kidding. You will have to just come to just hang out!
