I'm not sure if I've mentioned it, but I've been babysitting a little girl in my ward for a couple of weeks. Not too long after I started babysitting, I noticed her love of American Girl Dolls. I got one when I was younger so I mentioned it to her. I had actually taken her from my parents house a couple months before, so I figured I might as well let someone play with her since she's sadly been collecting dust for a while.
Playing with my AG doll has been a hit! The little girl I babysit, her sisters, and her mom have a total of four AG dolls, plus mine we have five to play with. We have a grand time, our only draw back is clothing for the dolls. Don't get me wrong, we have plenty of day clothes for the dolls, but how is a doll to sleep without a proper nightgown?! I have one and they have one, but like I said that still leaves three dolls to sleep in their day clothes! AH!
So I decided to use my doll's nightgown and create a pattern for another one (I used the same technique as I did for the baby dress). I figured if it worked I could make more. Well folks, I think it worked! Here is my little beauty modeling the new nightgown. I think the little girl I babysit will be so excited to see it!
