I usually don't post very sappy pictures, but seeing as yesterday was Valentine's Day, I guess I can make an exception. I don't know about you, but our Valentine's Day was EXTREMELY busy! I seriously felt like I was at least three steps behind where I should have been all day! But, that being said, it was a GREAT day!
Our tradition for Valentine's Day is to eat steak at home and watch a chick flick. I told my dear husband a long time ago that I'd rather have steak than flowers. Now don't get me wrong, I love flowers, and being surprised with flowers is great, but if I'm going to spend the money I'd rather have steak. And it's always so much better at home than at a restaurant, but maybe that's just my opinion. We had the steak in the fridge defrosting, but sadly by the time we were able to eat we were so hungry that we just went to McDonalds and got 2 20 piece chicken nuggets and ate those while we watched a chick flick, lol. My sweet husband gave me THE sweetest card, Ever. He has such a way with words, it makes my heart melt. I love him so much!
Even though Valentine's Day is kind of a cheesy holiday, it's still fun, and sometimes it's nice to have a day devoted to showing your love. But I also love being able to do that everyday! So no matter what your feelings are about Valentine's Day, I hope you had a great one!
